Metal Slug The Zombies is a basic Run N’ Gun type game. Created as a sidescroller it features Shoot em’ Up elements as players run through various levels and stages and shoot at different type of enemies. First released in 1996, the game has become a popular staple in every home.

Players take on the role of one of two Peregrine Falcon Squad soldiers, Tarma Roving and Marco Rossi. There is one main villain, General Morden. Players must battle his Rebel Army in order to keep the government intact. Metal Slug The Zombies opens up even further as Morden fights alongside other military groups including an alien race. Players gain the help of other teams and agents as the game progresses.

Metal Slug The Zombies has an easy to use interface. Players interact with three main controls: a shoot button, a grenade button and a jump button. Within each level users begin with a handgun and 1 grenades. The handgun has an infinite amount of ammo. There are more advanced and powerful weapons that can be found in different levels throughout gameplay.
